Big Surprise: Chastise Man is a Liberal

I’m currently reading Conservatives Without Conscience by John Dean (see my “Now Reading” section on the left sidebar for more information on the book).

Two interesting things to take away thus far:

1. Whatever it is the current mainstream Republican party, and especially the Bush administration, is doing, it isn’t conservatism. It may be mean-spirited, authoritarian, and radical, but it sure isn’t conservative.
