Chastise Man is on the Case

For several years now I’ve maintained an email list that has come to be called my "rant list".
The poor, hapless folks that have allowed themselves to be subject to my diatribes have stalwartly endured years of rants from yours truly.
I have been told I have a certain knack for ranting and one time a relative (whom I shan’t expose at this juncture) suggested I start a website where I help people get things off their chests; write letters to unresponsive vendors, incompetent customer support, idiot leaders, evil bosses, things like that.
Well, I don’t know about any knack or if any real talent is involved. All I know is that sometimes I’m mad as hell and I just can’t take it anymore. When that happens, you know it’s time for Chastise Man and what follows is a rant of epic proportions (at least in Chastise Man’s mind)
In any case, in an effort to preserve the love, friendship, and any respect that may remain of those people that have endured the email rantings of the past few years, I now move the whole project to this blog.
Politics, religion, the environment, and generally things that just piss me off are all fair game here. And I may, on occasion, have something nice to say.
In any case, this is just another blog by someone under the illusion that their opinion matters. Don’t be too alarmed; deep down I know my opinion isn’t worth squat.
Just don’t tell Chastise Man.
